About Us

It is the mission of California Psychological Institute to aide in the therapy and rehabilitation of Fresno County troubled youth and their families, through a professionally-supported, well-rounded team of therapeutic staff in order to reach all therapeutic treatment goals.

CPI supports counseling, training and community participation. Our collaboration with community providers and referring agencies are an important part of treatment that assures a continuum of quality care. We encourage family involvement to enhance the efforts of treatment and recognize the individual as part of the family unit.

CPI promotes high ethical standards, diversity, positive outcomes and creativity. We offer the highest quality of professional mental health services in a pleasant, private office environment conveniently located on the corner of Fruit and Herndon Avenue in Fresno, California.

In order to receive services a referral must be made through Fresno County Department of Social Services.

If you have private insurance, please call the customer service number listed on your insurance card. Ask if you have mental health coverage and if you can see an out of network provider as we are generally not contracted with private insurances. Also ask if you need to meet a deductible before coverage begins and what percentage or fixed co-pay amount you would be responsible for paying.
